Saturday, September 21 – 1:00pm-5pm
Saturday, September 28 – 1:00pm – 3pm
This 2-day workshop provides the student with opportunities to develop skills required to create mosaic glass-on-glass projects. First day, students will choose from a few designs. They will learn cutting techniques and skills to create their mosaic piece. Second day, students will get hands on experience at grouting their work. At the end of the class, students will be able to take their projects home with them. Expert guidance is provided for skill development. No previous experience necessary.
What’s needed: Students are required to bring their own wheeled glass tile nipper cutters (students have the option to purchase these on-site), glass cutters (optional, students have the option to purchase these on-site), breaking pliers (optional, students have the option to purchase these on-site), breaker grozer pliers (optional, students have the option to purchase these on-site) and apron (optional). If you require a stool, please bring your own as there are a limited amount in class. No open toed shoes allowed.
What’s included: Substrate, all glass, adhesives, grouting material, safety goggles, and instructions.
